about us

Since you've gotten a peek at what is going on in our lives I thought it would only be fitting that I tell you more about who we are.

I grew up in the Midwest. Was and avid softball player, runner, and even played a little soccer and basketball. Right after high school I headed to college. College was one of the best times in my life I played a little softball and some soccer. Learned how to handle my alcohol and managed to make it out in four years with a degree. I then headed directly into my professional career as a social worker. Currently I work with adults with developmental disabilities(DD). I advocate for them and insure that they have what they need in life to be as independent as possible. I moved to Montana almost 8yrs ago now. I was running a group home for kids with DD. I ended up getting very stress and my health began to suffer. I left and come to Montana to work in Glacier National Park, my escape from reality.

Chef was also an athlete in school. He was a great runner and devoted a bit of his time to baseball and basketball. During his later years in high school and for a while there after he competed in mini triathlons and road his bike 50 miles a day. Chef is also very creative. He has many artistic talents. He is also a music encyclopedia it's amazing the stuff this guy knows. After high school he had bounced around alot testing schools, his limits, and the direction that his life should take. He found his calling in culinary school. He attended school at Le Cordon Bleu in Pasadena, CA. Once he graduated he went on to work in Alaska at Denali National Park, then to Mammoth Ski resort in CA, and finally ended up at Glacier National Park.

We met while working in Glacier. The story of our meeting though is one that I will save for another day.

Please keep us in your thought for tomorrow hopefully we get diagnosis and treatment ideas. I will post sometime tomorrow evening (hopefully).
